Description
Transform your summer garden with the beautiful blooms and wonderful fragrance of 'Margret Merril'.
A simply stunning Floribunda rose that produces big, ivory-white, double blooms that are the perfect contrast to the gorgeous green foliage. A repeat flowering variety, it will fill your garden with its spectacular fragrance from May through to October, plus they make an exception cut flower for you to enjoy inside your home.
'Margaret Merril' has a robust and compact growing habit making it a perfect rose for planting in pots, in a mixed border or as a low flowering hedge.
A rose with significant historical importance, having been in St Paul's Cathedral at the wedding of Lady Diana Spencer to Prince Charles and in Westminster Abbey for that of Miss Sarah Ferguson to Prince Andrew. First produced all the way back in 1971, when the pollen of Rose 'Pascali' was brushed onto the stigma of an unnamed pink seedling - and when these seeds germinated and flowered a year later, the beautiful blooms released such a strong, sweet scent - the growers knew it was a winner right away!
Supplied as a bare root rose.
