Description
A truly standout rose that will take pride of place wherever it is planted.
When in bloom, vibrant lilac blue petals fall to a cream centre and act as a bed for playful, yellow stamens, which really catch the eye.
As the weeks pass by and the blooms mature, the petals will fade to a classy lilac-grey shade.
Large clusters of these small, semi-double flowers will appear in June and July, and truly ‘pop’ when contrasted against the surrounding light green leaves.
A delightfully sweet, almost orangey, perfume is released from the vigorous and rambling ‘Veilchenblau’.
This is well-known as an incredibly versatile climbing rose variety, as it looks simply gorgeous trained against old brick walls, while also forming a striking display against a fence or sprawled over an archway.
Supplied freshly in a 3L pot, ready to be planted out. Please note at certain times of the year this variety may be supplied in a 4L pot.
We always endeavour to provide beautifully formed plants; however, our roses will naturally start to lose their leaves from October to prepare for the colder months. Do not worry though, as they will flourish once again with leaves and buds in the spring.
Please, make sure you consider the season when purchasing our remarkable roses for yourself or loved ones.
