Introducing 'The Saga Rose', a glorious new Floribunda bred to celebrate 75 years of Saga. Fragrant, resilient and achingly beautiful!
This remarkable new rose is a celebration of quality, care, and of the enduring belief that the very best things in life only get better with age.
From June right through to autumn, 'The Saga Rose' produces generous clusters of five to nine perfectly formed blooms per stem, repeat flowering impressively. The outer petals unfurl in a warm, blushing salmon-pink, before easing into a beautifully deep rose-pink at the height of their bloom.
The fragrance is delicate, yet sweet and spicy, elevated by a subtle spiced note that adds character and depth without ever being overwhelming. The kind of scent you catch on a warm summer evening and find yourself walking back outside for.
Underpinning all of this beauty is the strong, dark green foliage, which shows outstanding resistance to most common rose diseases including blackspot and mildew.
Growing to 100cm tall and 80cm wide, 'The Saga Rose' is an ideal, well-proportioned Floribunda for mixed borders, dedicated rose beds or a generous patio container. It thrives in full sun, in most well-drained and fertile soils, and is fully hardy across the United Kingdom.
Supplied as an established, freshly potted rose in a 4 litre pot, ready to plant.
